After studying at QUT, I began my career working across residential and multi-residential projects in Australia and the UK. Returning to Brisbane, I spent nearly 15 years at Arkhefield, where I became a principal and led projects ranging from large-scale commercial developments to single-family homes.
Starting my own practice brought me back to the part of architecture I enjoy most: sitting at kitchen tables, sketching by hand, and staying close to the people and places where thoughtful design makes the greatest difference. Working with a small number of clients each year allows me to maintain that focus and level of care.
Today, the studio focuses on renovations, new homes, and small, considered townhouse and apartment projects. I’m also fortunate to remain involved in larger residential work through ongoing advisory roles on masterplans and design guides.
HOW WE WORK
We begin by visiting your home or site. Seeing how you live and how the space works (or doesn’t) is the fastest way to understand what needs to change.
From there, we prepare a proposal clearly outlining the scope, the stages ahead and realistic costs. Surprises might be fun in other parts of life, but not here. We communicate early and openly so you can make every decision with confidence.
Every project is unique, so our involvement flexes to suit. Some clients bring us in simply to explore possibilities. Others want support all the way through approvals, interior design, documentation and construction.
